any sugguestions on what to change to accommodate my downgrade in connection?
should i be changing /rate /maxpackets etc?

In that case I recommend you to do this in your config:
“unbindall
bind mouse1 quit”
After connecting and choosing the side/class click mouse1 then gtfo of the house and go fishing!
Seriously playing on wireless is like playing on a capped plan. Unless you live in one of those regional areas where theres 2 people in town using wireless.

Seriously, hicksy, you’ve got no hope playing with 3 wireless.
I tried it once (just web browsing!) and it was SLOWER than dial-up. Really really bad.

I strongly suggest to any gamer that he/she does not use wireless to play online games. Firstly the quaility is bad and secondly it is not reliable aspecially during peak times. The entire infracstructure is preeety much overloaded during peak times in many of the metropolitan and large city/town areas. Melbourne/Geelong is preety much one of the worst atm.
And dont forget about the prices….aint cheap and the data allocation is shocking atm
