Topic starter

I just did a reinstal of ET after changing from Vista Business N 32 bit to Windows Professional 64 bit.

I used to have setpoint operating on the previous OS and it went ok. I installed it again on the new OS and have all sorts of issues with my sens, as soon as I open ET the mouse settings auto default to 2.85 which is way too high for me. Even when I used the dpi button on my g5 when I die it goes straight back to 2.85. Using sens in the main panel of ET allows me to reduce but again, when I die, back it goes to 2.85. Really annoying me and I have been sooking it up a lot (tissue please). It got to the point where I have been annoying Joker (sorry mate, just frustrated) by trying to kamakazie a lot, not that I really care about my k/d ratio at the best of times.

Anyway – what can I do? I have now removed setpoint as I have been told that it has issues under Win 7 anyway, but still having issues, it would be good to play normally (same cfg file by the way as before, nothing has changed there).

Would it be a win 7 setting? I have had a dabble in control panel as well but meh, still 2.85 when I connect.

Horie , Try this

Go to your cfg , should have a file path like this in win7 64 bit

C:Program Files (x86)Enemy TerritoryetmainprofilesETUI

Add this line with your prefferred mouse sense

seta sensitivity “2.3”

( I use 2000 DPI on a G5 )

I recommend you use notepad++ from here http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ to edit cfg’s.

It numbers each line & makes cfg editing a walk in the park & can do multiple tabs like IE or FF.

Awesome program! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cheers

My setpoint works fine for my G9 mouse on windows 7..

Maybe setpoint has gaming mode enabled and changes sens when ET is launched.

However if your sensitivity within Wolfenstein is the one changing it must be within your config.. Either its autoexec running when you connect to the server or you have a bind somewhere (could be a double bind) changing the sens.. it makes no sense for the sensitivity (within the game) to just change when you die or connection without it being in your config.
