/hunkmegs 1024

a) /com_hunkmegs
and b) Not everyone has 1GB RAM!
A good number to use is 1/3 of your ram. There is little difference between 1/3 and 1/2, performance wise. Once it hits 384 everything stays mostly the same.
set com_vidmegs to like 100 as well, if your gona set hunkmegs to 384. And soundmegs up to about 100 as well. 😀

I use 96. Guess I just like my magic numbers.
On that note though, I’m not sure if I’ve upped my com_hunkmges etc since I got 2GB RAM. Should check next time I play. Change my graphics settings too.
Turning anything up past 128 I dont think will do much, but if its lower turn it up if you want, u might notice a difference 🙂

I think my old settings used 384 MB all added together. So I probably should up them. 🙂
