Hi all,
Just formatted computer & went to Win7 64bit & have discovered my firewall (Look N Stop 2.07) blocks ET from displaying any servers at all.
When firewall is closed this is not a problem & win7 firewall nor user account control cause any problems either just Look N Stop which has ET.exe & ETED.exe allowed through but PB
A,B,K,sys do not appear in task manager even though I believe I correctly re-installed PB.

So is it certain port numbers that I’m missing,or UDP / TCP or bobbla knows what, all I know is when I disable my primary firewall ,I can play but that is not an ideal solution.

So if anyone has an idea,I would be grateful ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers

Solved !!!

Name of the firewall rule : UDP : Any other UDP packet

Description : Block all other UDP packets

Was actively blocking server list from populating in ET.

Changed from block to allowed.

It might open too many ports but it’s better than no firewall running at all. :rnade:
