NEVER, ever had a problem with this, untill recently. I have a good computer usually running at 90FPS with no problems, but recently it would drop down to 8…9..10 and then 20 and then go back up again, and it will keep repeating this. SO annoying, can’t play at all, this is why ive been speccing alot. I useto run et, no problems with things running in the backround, msn, myspace, fb ect. But now even when i close these things and only have ET running I still get the FPS lagg. Now I don’t think it’s from PB, because while PB was on for a time I still had no FPS lagg, it only started recently. Ive tried countless things, no change. HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

ps (ive also tried to lower my MAXFPS to 40-50 but it doesn’t help) 😡

Do you have new software that hogs CPU speed?
New config?
Tweaked with anything?
How long does the FPS drop last for?

You should always cap your fps to something high like 125 or higher and let your computer figure out the stable frame rate.

Your an inbecile full stop.

i have a new config, flekz helped me tweak some things, dont nothing major, dont think it has anything to do with these FPS spikes….. and it goes down for about 5 seconds… maybe alittle longer.

my lagg demo, also svchost takes of 50% of processes in CPU. if this helps?!?!? .

its called “pnkbstr B” and when it does its thing it drops your fps out the arse!
happens to me to… just turn off pbA and B from processes in task manager and all will be solved

Ulti has hacked since the down of time, and he is still mad that nobody will be his friend.

yer i did that ealier works a treat even though my fps was falling from 200 – 100 – 75 but when it went to 75 it was painfully off puttting dont know why and yes i know about how many frames human eye can see raaaah raaaah raaaah.
