Basically i redownloaded all the appropriate stuff etc and installed it.
When i try to run et i get the sound and all that but i get no picture of the usual setup when you enter the game etc. All i get is a grey screen. Any idea what the problem is.
I can go into more detail if needed.
Is my graphics card screwed or something.

Heres a simple idea first up, you may have already tried this.
1. Check you have up to date drivers for your graphics
2. Run ET in compatability mode usually “Windows ME”
May help I’m not sure. Hope it does.

Ewww no never Winblows ME .. if compat mode use XP(unless your on XP) but yes video screwup’s are usually due to newer drivers as ET is old .. i had to roll back vid drivers to play some older fps games.

I doubt your onboard graphics can handle games so you can try to grab yourself an AGP graphics card.
Just to note even if you grab the card the most you’ll be able to experience is about 15-30fps on medium to low settings.

lol @ that i can run ET @ 76 solid (as that what i capped the card the 7600GS at) and settings on HIGH. i had 120 fps on high w.o capping the card.
