———How to Open muti clients of ventrilo —————–

1) First click “Start” on your taskbar located at the bottom left of your screen, then go to “My Computer”.

2) Now double click (c:) and follow this path “C:Program FilesVentrilo”.

3) Once you are in the Ventrilo folder right click on “Ventrilo.exe” and click “Create Shortcut”.

4) Now right click on the shortcut that you have just made and click “Properties”, you should now be looking at somthing like this.

Ventrilo 1.jpg[/attachment:3rt1p6ze]

5) Now what you need to do is click in the target box after the end quotation marks and press the space bar and add -m, it should look like this.

Ventrilo 2.jpg[/attachment:3rt1p6ze]

6) Now click OK and your done. All you need to do now is move the shortcut wherever you want it, for example your desktop. In future when you want to open a ventrilo just use that shortcut and you can open as many as you like.

NOTE:

If you edit or create a server/account with multiple ventrilo clients open they will not be saved when you next open ventrilo so make sure you close down all your ventrilo clients and open a single fresh one to make your changes and/or additions.

THIS TUTORIAL ALSO WORKS IN VISTA ITS JUST A SLIGHT DIFFERENT ROUTE TO GET TO THE VENTRILO FOLDER.

Nicely written guide.
Would this option allow vent clients on different PCs behind a router to connect to the same server i.e. kit and fraggle’s problem?

Also I was under the impression you were banned from the forum for multiple accounts.

Current projects:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/etpipe/

no it wont the -m stands for multiple so that it allows more then 1 ventrilo to run on the same pc

and to

wrong if you have more then 1 open and you edit server info or anything close that ventrilo as last and the data will be saved

Did you try changing your subnet mask or IP Bambi? I’ve heard this may work.
Mine was changed on the last three characters from 138 to 100 for my machine,
and 101 for the lads machine. It allows us to connect to sampe application from same network.

Cheerz Mick.
