Got a decent headset from Officeworks today – OfficeOne stereo headset
Works a charm, but TS3 doesn’t seem to like it. Haven’t tried vent yet, but i can’t find the place where to change my mic input? I’ve been using a built in mic on my laptop, and i’ve got the correct plug in the correct port, but no dice.
Any help?
(no, get a new headset isn’t helpful)
If you wanted to be my friend you wouldnt say i have pooey pants
NickelKroegerBack or GTFO!
ts3 should have an auto pic best one in the settings options menu otherwise make sure mic is plugged in and select it also make sure any drivers it may need are installed otherwise it may not function correctly or win might not pick it up

Let’s check some hardware basics, USB or Analogue? (2 x 3.5mm Audio Jacks) If it’s analogue mic socket is left (or Pink) & output (speaker / headphone) is on right (green)
On win XP go control panel / sounds audio devices & select the voice TAB & select voice recording ( I think,I haven’t used xp for a while) & see how you go!

Try Ventinizor 1.4, has all the vents and TS progs all in one and some nifty setup wizard.

Don’t need to change the line-in settings since its most likely plug and play auto switch.
Anyway try the headset on another device to see if it works and make sure you un-mute the mic before use ๐
Also try a different headset to isolate the problem further.
