Old mouse is starting to fail, so I need a new one.
Been using : Logitech M220 silent mouse. Works well enough, and I like how it looks. Bit small, tho I’ve got used to it.

I’m thinking get a proper mouse. One of these: Logitech M330 Silent, or M590 Silent. Or Logitech M510, or M720 (all wireless)
Comparison site: https://productz.com/en/logitech-m220-vs-logitech-m330-vs-logitech-m510-vs-logitech-m590-multi-device-silent-vs-logitech-m720/v/VooXx-Edd0Y-eXXbz-0ppXn-Pyydn

M720 most expensive, but currently has 20 off on amazon. I guess a silent mouse isn’t necessary, especially if it’s a bit small.
Budget is up to ~£40 (~75 AUD).

I’ve looked at some Logitech gaming mice, but have no idea where to start, and I’m not enamoured of the flashing lights.
Considered a wired/wireless hybrid, but can’t find much info on them. Also don’t know much about other brands.

Any advice will be appreciated!

Hey me too TC – 10 year old Microsoft Comfort for the PC. And a nifty Microsoft Arc for the Surface Pro.

I did get a whistles & bells gaming mouse with the new rig, but hated it and gave it my son.

So not much help either soz.

sod it I’ll just get another basic mouse then.

Too much choice in the modern world. It gets confusing.

my biggest issue is new ones have way too many buttons. I cant remember what they do
For ages i thought my in game settings were playing up and i was adjusting rate all the time but it turned out to be when i rested my palm gently on the mouse it pushed a small button that changed the dpi or something. Took a month to figure it out ffs. So back to basic. At a price point of $0, i only needed minor coercion

Steel series 710 has been a great upgrade from my last few razer death-adders. The side buttons are pretty out of the way so you’re not forced to accidently use them.
