Jesus Christ how dark do ya like ya screen lol anyway to point of the topic, I had this problem before and it has something to do with a mod pk. Sorry I can’t remember the name of the pk got deleted when I reformated.

Haha, I think its so dark because he turned off high quality sky and set the brightness down a bit. He’s gunna have a hard time spotting the Axis on darker maps isn’t he? LOL.
Anyways if you could remember the pak name that’d bee good Bullet, if you can’t I’ll just tell him to build a bridge and get over it.

its the etpub mod.

it is etpub mod so go into ur etpub directory and/or ur etmain and dlete the etpub.pk3 file and folder compeltely. The reinstlal the mod.

Also to increase the brightness of ur screen please put r_gamma 3 (put a lower number for lower brightness)

There is no etpub.pk3 in his install, I know, I search it myself. Maybe thats the problem? Where can I download the pk3 file from?

he has to have that pak, otherwise he wuld not be on the server, it isnt in the emain folder, it is in the etpub folder, look in there

I did a serach throughout the entire et folder (including both etmain & etpub) for *.pak and there is no etpub.pak file.
I know thats probably unbelieveable but there is no etpub pak or pk3 file in his et folder. Can I copy my etpub pak file across or will that copy across my settings etc?

It’s a pk3 file. They’re called paks.

Just go to his ET folder and delete his etpub folder. When he connects he’ll redownload what he needs, and the problem will be gone.

Ok, tried deleting his etpub folder ad connecting to server, same problem, it redownloads some stuff but doesnt fix the problem.
Any ideas?

Clear out his other mod folders too. Just delete them entirely. I hate how much junk half the servers make me download.

I thought it was etpro that made it so people’s names were coloured. I recommend just downloading all the latest versions of Etpro, jaymod, and Etpub

Fixed, thanks every1 foir ur help. I got sick of it and basically copoied my entire etpub and etpro folders over, it works good now. LOL.
