I think that the 20006 integrity kick is for a harddrive issue. None of the integrity kicks are considered cheats, they are just failures of some of PB’s self-checks. I would recommend running scandisk and doing a full surface scan.

Yeah seen that and peoples ways of fixing it involved de-fragging, which isn’t something that is common on macs, if at all (due to journalising of the HD).

Integrity issues only occur if PB detect the game environment has been altered in some way. It could end up coming down to a corrupt .pk3 or punkbuster file. Have you tried completely uninstalling PB then reinstalling, not just reinstalling over the top?

Perhaps a fresh install of both may be required in your case, make sure you have the 2.60d for ET for MAC install and then update Punkbuster via the utility and finally connect to scrim server.

REMEMBER: TO back up your etkey file in your etmain folder as this is where your xpsave is remembered from :).

GAME INTEGRITY #20006 is a kick for failure of ‘PBSVC’ to update itself…. Usually it will update itself but it takes a minute or two
after connecting to a PB-enabled server for it to auto-update…. Before that has time to happen you are kicked 🙁 Ironic really…

I think the way I fixed it last time was to update 3 PB files manually, then when connecting to PB-enabled server after that it updated itself.

Thanks for the files which I couldn’t fing :P. I’ll have to wait until the server is booked again to find out whether or not
these fixes work, interestingly enough the main version (of the entire package is vanilla wolf et) so im downloading 2.60d
full now and will see if that has any thing to do with it. Though I’m not particularly sure it will, for, if you have used a Mac
before, you will be aware of the fact that almost everything which the application requires to run is contained as one (package
type file); so for patches of ET, all it takes is to replace the old launcher/app with the new one and its done; replace the dock
link as-well otherwise there will be errors.

All of a sudden I’m getting massive ping lag and high pings in general in the normal server,
this is the first time I’ve played Wolf ET since all the updates and such, from your above suggestions
any ideas? I’m doing a re-install of it using the 2.60d ET files, so could someone give me a list of what maps
are used in the server? Just so I can keep them and hope one of the others is corrupt.

Also, while connected to TS my ping was fine, and speed tests came up normal.

Hey mate, try settings in console before you connect.

/rate 25000
/cl_maxpackets 60

That should fix the ping issue. With the .pk3 issue, try closing ET and reconnecting, if it persists, delete your etpub folder and reconnect to the server.
