I also told her the when I check services running there are two iexplore.exe apps running with only 1 session open.
Thats normal.
At least the techie didnt advise you to format and re-install windows.
The 3min load time for IE8 is probably because you installed too many add-ons. Like the numerous filters, pop-up blockers etc, etc. Try disabling them all before closing and just enable them after opening IE then disable just before you close it so it’ll load up faster next time.
The other solution is to leave IE and join the masses by exclusively using Firefox.

Screw IE off and get FF – it prawns IE any day.
Thx nelots ๐
I experimented and tried a stand-alone full dl and install of IE8 with add-ons disabled and that sorted its little red wagon – wtf the tech didnt suggest this arrggg ๐ฟ
And guys I got both – some in my family use FF and some IE but I hear ya ๐

What section of Bunnings is compressed air in? I need to get some – two of these computers are 4+, the other is 3 now – but I don’t want to ask the Bunnings people because they’ll think I’m stupid.
^Should be in the paints sections at bunnings but you can also goto Officeworks, DSE, jaycar and some computer stores would stock it too.
I saw MSY selling it a while back too so its worth while to look around for it. Just a note, don’t get it mixed up with cans of refrigeration gas refills.
Final note is don’t spray it directly onto yourself or anyone as it can kill people.
