Team Damage Kick Setting?

What should I set this two.. It has been set to unrealistic values again as I believe it was set too low, however if we optimise it could fix a lot of the unintentional lazy tking of some. I know its easier to just shoot through two of your teammates to get to the natzi BUT it hurts their feelings, so if we can implement this, correctly, then it would prove a lot of worth I believe.

Here are the cvars for this.

g_teamDamageRestriction [integer]

    When greater than 0, anybody that has this percentage of hits inflicted on a teammate will automatically be kicked. A minimum of g_minhits hits total required before this is calculated. Client can see current stats for themselves by doing a /damage in console. Implemented to mimic shrub behavior as much as is possible, there are other ways to implement this feature, which may be implemented in addition to current manner.

    Default is 0
g_minHits [integer]

    Minimum number of damaging hits required before calculating if player has reached g_teamDamageRestriction threshold. Flamethrower and landmine hits are adjusted similar to shrub. Medics get -2 hits for every revive.

    Default is 6

Was set at

g_teamDamageRestriction "60"

g_minHits "40"

Currently after taking into consideration a few possiblities morbit I have adjusted it to the following for now somewhere in the middle, if it proves useless i shall harshen the restriction values much closer to the values you have.

g_teamDamageRestriction "35"

g_minHits "10"

it should be a set amount, not a percentage. A quality player could get kicked immediately while a jerk could play for 20mins and get bored and bleed for the last 10mins.

Good point Frogma, I thougt about this myself.. but how do you monitor their team damage.. would it be fair on all maps.. with shorter timelimit.. but i guess it doesn’t matter if they pop out 500 team damage in total anyway.
