So trying to host game so i can look at some maps without getting killed all the time.
Doesn’t get to the point of loading the map when it comes up with this.

And so i can’t host a game but can connect to a server all right.

Go through your pk3 files and delete anything which isn’t related to -OZ- or your standard ET install. Then try running you server.

Did that then got rid of all -OZ- stuff then all but one maps.
Only pk3 files left are pak0-2 still same error message.
(don’t worry about all the files i deleted can still put them back. They just sitting in the trash atm.)

Your easiest and best bet would to just install ET to a different directory and test there.
Actually i have decompressed the pak0.pk3 file.
Found the piece of code that the error refers to.
Removed the MP40 from that line.
Compressed it back to pk3 and then the error just referred to the next token (Thompson).
set weapons machineguns = MP40 AND Thompson AND Sten AND Flamethrower AND panzerfaust AND Mobile MG42
Thats the line it’s talking bout.
I highyl doubt it is an error inside your pak0.pk3, or any of it’s scripting. There isn’t anything in ET that would do that. Consdering all patches even only modify the mp_bin.pk3 and ET.exe
Remove the entire “animations” folder in your game directory.
If all else fails, reinstall ET.

Yes i have taken this course of action.
It has taken me two hours to find a site where the download button actually gets me a download instead of just refreshing the page.
Now I am downloading 257 Mb at 14-15 Kbps. Thats about 4 hours and 50 mins.
Also the animations folder is in the pak0.pk3. Remove that and well nothing moves.
Fresh reinstall worked a charm.
All Working now except forgot to save maps but owell.
