Alright, so this morning I jumped on ET to connect to an ETTV server to watch some NC XIII action, but I get the error as mentioned in the thread title. I also got it when trying to connect to the OZ server. (Don’t ask why, I thought it might have just been an ETTV thing.) Never got this before and was wondering as to why I am getting it, and how I can fix it.

Sounds like a server has auto-download a PK3 file to you with a corrupt game client in it…..?
Find the ETPUB and ETPRO folders on your computer in the Wolfenstein install.
1) delete cgame_mp_x86.dll and ui_mp_x86.dll and hunkusage.dat
2) delete all PK3 files from ETPUB and ETPRO folders (keeping the ones listed below)
Only files in ETPRO folder required for ETPro GameArena, CyberGamer and ETTV:
etpro-3_2_6.pk3 warbell_etproonly.pk3 trmfght_beta2_etpro.pk3 trans_cm_icons_ETpro.pk3 theriver2redux_ETPRO.pk3 rommel_ga_ETPRO_ONLY.pk3 reactor_ETPRO_ONLY.pk3 raiders_etprocm.pk3 decoder_etpro.pk3
Only files in ETPUB folder required for OZ server:
zzz_emot02a.pk3 ozhitsounds2.pk3 z_medbox-satchel.pk3 z_sunglasses_et.pk3 zzz_ozmod001.f62811e9.pk3 zzz_oznakedbodies.pk3 etpubc-oz-1.1.0.pk3
Even if you delete all PK3 files they should auto-download if necessary… 🙂
