G’day gamers,
I love Windows 7, however like most people kept getting kicked for punkbusters numberous issues with this fantastic new OS. So I did some research and have revised my previous method to fix many of these punkbuster in conjunction with windows 7 errors and kicks so here goes.
Note: I am running the 64bit version of build 7100.
I noticed while reinstalling punkbuster, that it thinks windows 7 is windows NT 4.0!
So hopefully the following will temporary fix your problems:
* Enable Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 5 compabitility for PnkBstrA/B.exe in c:windowssyswow64 and c:usersyour_usernameappdatalocalpunkbuster.
* Running above files with administrator rights.
* Enable Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 5 compabitility for C:Program Files (x86)Wolfenstein Enemy TerritoryET.exe & ETDED.exe
* Run both ET.exe & ETDED.exe without administrator rights. If this doesnt work try with admin rights.
REMEMBER TO SHUT DOWN COMPUTER AND RESTART AFTER DOING THE ABOVE!
So far this has worked for me… but is not garanteed

I threw PB on 32b-bit build 7000 and had no problems then. Updated instead of fresh-installing to build 7100 and my PB still works fine. But w7 ftw.

Won’t be getting the official release for a while. Thankfully RC will last until March or May or something. I’ll need to find a Professional upgrade copy then.
Did you guys see how excited the first Australian to buy it was? I recorded however big Sunrise is just for that. Like, 3GB+ or something.
