bought the CD, put it in, ran BlackOps.exe setup thingo… registerd on Steam… & NOW! it’s been downloading something for AGES! it’s been on -98% for 30mins + & only d/l’ing at 9.5k/bs MAX!

whaaaaaaaat how? i run an i3 and 2.93GHz and i struggle to get 30 🙁

Maybe with the new update, but with the fisrt release if you had a dual core and a decent GFXcard, the fix for it was to turn your graphics up to full to place more strain on your GPU than your CPU, but only running a 512 card doesnt really help either way :/

They released a 2GB update for both single and multiplayer today that fixes the GPU issues so gunna download that and hopefully it’ll be sweet

I did see the update. It’s pretty bad that they did such a dodgy job on the game. Didn’t it have a memory leak or something before it got patched the first time?
