One thing I dont understand is why people buy some mouse that has 50gazillion buttons for game playing where possibly they dont use all of the buttons? Or do they configure all of the buttons on it for short cut binds; in that case dont you ever press one accidently that you normaly would not want to?

I find a basic or somewhat basic mouse to be good enough. Afcourse with the exception that the DPI resolution in those is pretty crap.

To me, unless you are a computer freak with 2-3 monitors and running different applications or a pro gamer, its useless to have a mouse with 50gazillion buttons on it..its lie buying a keyboar with 1001 functions and not use them.

I ttried testing one of the more complex mouse and ended up pressing buttons which I would not want to. How de F**K do people get used to those kind lol…i dont get it.

for games like world of warcraft, Guild Wars etc where it makes it possible to bind spells/moves to the buttons for quick access.

No more pressing 1, 2, 3, 4, etc for your weapons! Just bind them all to different button on your üb3r Pr0 mouse. Hah.

I just dont like having 10+ small buttons around the entire mouse and needing to use all of them. I would find it annoying and probably keep pressing the wrong ones. I have always kept mouse and keyboard basic, maybe it would make some things quicker but I just never bothered because for me its fine how it is.

Some players have to have and others dont.

There are more World of Warcraft players than ever, hence why such manufacturers as Razer create a mouse with macro keys.

You would think that it is quite easy to see that this sort of mouse is not designed for an FPS.

Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean others won’t. The implementation of this mouse clearly shows your opinion is obviously in the minority.

After playing WoW I can see that it would be pretty awesome to have all those binds at the tip of your fingers. Especially if you’re like me and you have little small women fingers.

I’ll probably buy a g5 cos i’ve used a mx510 for years…but razer mice have lights FFS!!!

this appears to be the new version/replacement of the g5, has higher dpi among other things. g5 does not exist now on logitech site only g500 and g9 [url] http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_ … /&cl=gb,en[/url]

the link rainbow provided is a g5 you will notice the dif if you compare them
