G’day all this is probably so easy for you young computer whizzes,but its got me knackered,i was mucking around trying to get “i need a ninja deer talk up and accidently changed the team speak key from t to y i know its only petty, but after all theses years pressing t to talk is a habit, can someone please explain to me how to change it back? I’m just a silly old fart that should not touch a computer sometimes. Cheers Bogan
Okies load ts
Go to Settings
Options
Capture
You will see next to the option “push to talk”
It will say “Assign hotkey”
Click that and choose your prefered option (in your case T) to press to talk!
Press apply or ok
Thats pretty much it unless Im mistaken!

It is a program that works like a group conferencing telephone call over the internet without having to pay for it.
You may have heard of VoIP or programs that use this technology like Skype or Ventrillo or Teamspeak 3 .etc
You need speakers or a headset / headphones & a internet connection (broadband preferrably) & a microphone is not necessary but it makes a big difference if you have one.

Just to clarify, bogan is talking about the team say command within ET, not anything to do with TS.
He rebinded his T key to the Y key somehow and wants to get it back.
I forget what the team talk command name is to rebind it but when I get some time to look through a config I’ll post it up if some other young whipper snapper hasn’t done so already.

i think the select buddy stuff is what puts the fireteam symbol above pplz heads

Selectbuddy allows you to isolate a member of the fireteam to coop with, select all or select none.
It activates/deactivates the fireteam icon, radar bleep and comms as in ft chat.
Your an inbecile full stop.
