There are heaps of docos about life, the universe and everything. But no-one can do it with the wit and genius of Hawking.

Cosmos with Neil deGrasse Tyson is better. Great communicator, and the series is so well produced.

Final part 2 of the above Hawking doco –

What beats me is these cosmologists blithely talk about the absence of nothing eg. before the big bang when the whole universe was a teeny weeny dot surrounded by zip because space/time didn’t exist yet. For something to exist it has to exist IN something grrr…

But then again these guys think in pure mathematic abstracts, not like us mere mortals.
