oh i swear I made a post here pointing out how useless that graph is as an indicator of OZ knowing what they are doing.

My points were that whatever that graph represents (label your graph ffs) is based on Skanky’s work carrying over. It’ll take a couple of weeks before problems from his not being here to fix problems becomes relevant. Also I believe that graph is based on the poor performance of other servers. Also I think the fact that amacide would use this graph as proof that “OZ knows what they are doing” would suggest the exact opposite. Also I think the fact that amacide got my post ninja’d would suggest I was on the money.

Now can someone please quote this with a big OZ compliment below so it doesnt get deleted?

This thread is a perfect example of the Frog attack-everything-about-everything-even-when-I’m-arguing-the-opposite strategy. One post you are saying that the best thing about OZ was Skank, and the rest of us don’t know what we’re doing. Then in the next post say that admins abusing custom commands is amazingly terrible, when it’s Skank who was basically the only one doing that (and certainly the only one doing it regularly). Decide which train you want to be on perhaps?

It’s GameTracker graph – they monitor game servers 24/7 which allows them to know average player numbers, rank servers, etc.
You might notice the GameTracker on the front page of OZ forums…………………………….. Recently our average player numbers have gone up.

Everyone knows you read it but had no comeback to any of my arguments so went with the lame excuse

My general interpretation of the graph is that there has been a slacken yet gradual decrease in the number of players on the server.

Actually you’ll notice it was the way that the custom command could be sneakily abused that was my problem in the other thread. I didn’t mind when skanky flew around because he only seemed to do it late at night when the cool cats were on and the server was getting a bit stale. Also it was obvious so he wasn’t trying to hide anything like the r_shownormals thing. Same train bro.
