What isn’t funny is the fact that a problem has been brought to -OZ- attention and the only phucken answer given is pretty much tough bobbla go spec and wait or go to the out numbered team, ffs whats the point of that!!!! The idea of having light weapon sk allowed is to make the server FUN FOR EVERYONE, well at the moment that isn’t happening. How about coming up with a answer to the problem at hand instead of the FLAME WARS IN EVERY PHUCKEN POST.

Umm ok, how about we just disable bots completely then? Will that make it better? What solution do you have to this problem? We can’t control every second of the server (as much as some think I’d like to :P) so there will be times where you have to, I dunno, talk to the OTHER PLAYERS on the server and sort yourselves out. If you can’t do that or come up with some sort of solution that we can implement, then yes the answer is tough bobbla.

Have you ever thought that some people actually like playing against bots? specially when its those after hours times like early morning or real late at night?
You can’t force people to switch over to even up the teams in terms of bots+people ratio per team. It’s like the old panzer debate, just live with it.

That is not a fix that keeps everyone happy, it is a fix that just makes you happy and will annoy lots of other people. It isn’t as easy as it looks to try and keep everyone happy 😛 If you can write that script that makes the teams even with bots, then I will gladly put it on the server, let me know when it is done.

I don’t have a problem with one side being stacked by humans and me on the other side with BOTs for example. Its still quite even and in most cases either the whoile side stacks with humans or its spread equaliy…on those rare occasions it will be what I mentioned in the first sentence.

I was being more specific to a script that forces players to split into equal numbered teams with/without BOTs…im sure ive seen this before. Arent BOTs auto loaded after each new map? Force equal team balance (if player numbers is below 10 for example) before BOTs are loaded if it can be done.

P.S. I can see why both are similar discussions but I was trying to elaborate further and be specific FYI.

Trigger Happy don’t get me wrong here I’m not saying it’s easy or having a go at you. All I’m saying is iOn come here with a valid point (at which you guys keep saying to bring to the forums) At least come up with suggestions as to how this can be fixed or a solution, Don’t just sweep it under the carpet and say tough deal, with it… (If I was still a donator to the server saying the same thing would I still get the same answer??? Cause that would be the quickest and surest why to get OZ shut down.)

At the moment if a player tries to join a team that is stacked the server tells you to join the other team and won’t allow you to join… So what I’m saying is there is no fun in joining a team that is all bot’s against a team that is all human.. If other players are going to be to Pig Headed to join the out numbered team then maybe whats needed to wake them up is to have Bot’s off..

If you aren’t having a go then tone down your language and talk like a normal person, I don’t react well to people’s demands when they yell and swear it at me 🙂
While my post may have been blunt to you, I think it was satisfactory given the description I was given. Ion even said he doesn’t know if it is doable and seemed to accept that if there wasn’t a way then that would be OK. At this stage there isn’t anything I can do. In an unrelated incident today, I did raise the pwr levels allowed on each team so it allows you to join a team easier but it will probably allow stacked teams to get stacked easier too, it really is a catch 22. If you are a donator you would get the same answer, I don’t say I can’t do something because I don’t want to, if I don’t want to do it I will tell you why I won’t, simple.

But I put this to you Mort, I want to have a syrup that makes me live forever, can you please give me that? Now if you say no, even with reasons without even trying to attempt it in your next post, I am going to rage and swear at you and say you are just sweeping the issue under the carpet.

I understand where your coming from, I myself don’t know enough about scripts or scripting to get a valid fix to the problem at hand, but I’m sure someone out there (In -OZ- Or not) maybe able to come up or find something that will fix it.

If you read my first post I was really more annoyed at the flaming (If it come across that way accept my appolgises) I was swearing at the tools that every chance they get start flaming each other… It’s getting rather old and seeing -OZ- members joining in on the flame war (RECRUITS or NOT) isn’t really setting a example now is it????

That’s ok, no hard feelings. Maybe someone will come up with a fix, but unfortunately to my knowledge there isn’t one that I can think of at this time.
As I said in the previous post, I raised the PWR allowed on each team so maybe that will fix things a bit, or it will make them a lot worse 😛
Other than that, you just have to try and get along with the other players when admins aren’t on to help even things out.

I’d much rather a person with higher K/D on my team than one with high PWR.

Bots are a good way to start a server off and it gives players a bit of fun if it’s early/late at night. Hopefully now that triggs has tweaked with the settings they will work as intended.

Furthermore on stacked teams, it’s simply frustrating playing with bad players against a stacked team. I avoid teaming up with the players that snipe from their spawn/camp their own spawn with cheese weapons/don’t attack.

You should stick with the crap team but instead of attacking stay in spawn and block the dopes camping their own spawn. File on everytime they tk you until they’re kick then the good players from the other side will be forced to switch over 🙂
