Made a few changes to alter the medics to reduce their advantage to some degree.

g_dropHealth “2” – Only drop 2 med packs when they die

IMO nerfs other classes trying to compete against medics.

Thankyou, actually I will explain quickly.

Although it seems like this, In a way I chose too for several reasons. If you are in the middle of a firefight 1v2 or such. And you just kill your first enemy, getting back to full health due to killing one opponent doesn’t seem very fair to the 2v1 setup, although its unfair technically, if the players planned it and are using teamwork there is no reason to penalize this.

Those packs are often the only thing that will keep an eng alive long enough to do the obj. 3 seemed pretty fair.

Engineers do get the most use out of the dead body packs – flak jacket plus a constant stream of med packs!

wat. That doesn’t happen as often as you’d think. On the other hand a cvop/eng/fop will be gibbing a med for health every minute of the game.

I do see, however with the nerfing of medics, of which I hope to do soon :), then engineers while retaining their flak jackets and medics losing their 156 max hp and ultra fast hp regen, should balance things out a little. For the moment however, I have upgraded the max drops back to 3, until the nerfing has taken full place :).

I have also just increased the charge time by 4 seconds for medics, so Packing is a fraction more difficult for them :).

you wanna nerf meds yet all those changes will do is make it harder for everyone else, i would suggest using this:
g_medicSelfhealTime [integer]

The time in milliseconds that a medic cannot heal himself after being hit

Default is 0
set it too like 2secs (2000milliseconds) leave packs dropped as it is now at 3 to help eng etc (good reward for there kill) as the hole rambo thing seems to be ppls prob

also the arty thing is only making more ppl go medic as field op is useless as it was, it was pointless if 1 other person went field op gunna be even worse now. (e:g: maps like battery have 2 battle fronts arty may be required in more then one postion)

ppl need to stop QQ bout the way the game was meant to be played!

i agree some restriction may be necessary but baby steps ppl gotta stop this hole default changed to SUPERPOWERS then omg QQ oh better remove it completely, there is a middle ground!

Thanks for your suggestions, will test them out on a DevServer and discuss with the DevTeam, worth a trial run at least I recon, config is easy enough to change.
