Watch a frag vid called Milky Way.

Its a Jap player with crap Jap music, but you cant tell me it doesnt take skill to pull off the rnade shots that he does.(Should see his main gate defence on Supply – fkn awesome shots)

Rande can be a noob weapon, but in a skillfull players hands its an absolute nightmare!

Im learning it for the lols.

Best put it back to default.

Just watched it – amazing movie but that music is AWFUL lol. Some of the players in that movie have played on GA before. He is very good, the players we’re talking about aren’t very skilled though ๐Ÿ˜›

Why has OZ set panzer splash damage higher than default; Its quite effective as it is at default and in the hands of lv4 the charge rate and splash damage would overkill the opposing side in the hands of an experienced player (aheeeemmm toot too tooo :P). Id take the option of having two panzers per team with default settings that one TBH.

3seconds is based on lv4, so assuming xp save is forever (or long time) on this server then everyone would have this option but 1 or 2 panzers per team doesnt make a difference unless you have all noobs that only know how to TK with panzers and thats why it was set to 1 per team. Not many experienced players know how to effectively annihilate the other team with a panzer. In my opinion id prefer to have default setting for panzer and 2 rather than 1. My B2B (a.k.a. Boob-Tube-betty, a.k.a. panzer) could take on a serious ammount of enemies…aspecially lv4 so upping the splash damage would only make it worse to an experiecend panzer person…but sounds like you dont have any playing on OZ so 2 panzers per team shouldnt be an issue…plus it gives the noobs a chance to learn.

I don’t think there will ever be a MiRUKU equivalent in Australia period.

@G the best rnade shots are the ones where players use it at distance as a mortar substitute.

Death not 100% sure why the recharge and damage of the panzer is so high but yeah I agree..

I will look into it and get opinions from other admins on what way we should go.

and also, the mobile MG42 are way more powerful in r/l than on OZ, could this get a boost aswel on power? it is a light machine gun after all…

If you did that everyone would be going FG42 since it is one of the best weapons in real life against those others (from memory).
Also about damage, why did the sten get upped? It’s firing rate is insane and coupled with an upped damage it will make for really interesting read:unfair times for some. It is a hackers favourite weapon for a reason, don’t go giving them more reasons to prawn harder ๐Ÿ˜›

There is no one that plays on the OZ server who is amazing or even half decent with the rnade. There have been a few good rnaders in AUS – Dersaiden/hammerkrook are the standouts there are others, but those 2 pretty much only play Rnade.

Best rnader ever was Raveneye, watch his gun defence from 2nd allies spawn on Oasis……..im all like WTF did he just do!!!!!

Hammer was clearly the best rnader in Aus, no question.

but yeah if you ever wanna see a pro rifle nader, check out ( im pretty sure its him :S ) a guy by the name if “Gifty”

but yeah hammer is hands down the best aggressive rnader in AUS, Dersaiden just had some incredible shots he could rip out of his sphinkter at important times, and forty was well… PRO EURO STRAT WHORE and a great team leader, good team organization etc.

Yes he did…I was merely pointing out that IF you were to make it REALISTIC, many people would go for the FG42 since in real life it is ACCURATE and FAST.

All I can say is default has worked for this long – why change it.

And 1 panzar is plenty. And maxing medics is stupid, what other class are we meant to go? Sten is nerfed half the time on oz (thats cov out), and you can only run one fop because of the support fire settings.

Umm, the rnade can be used as a noob weapon, but with some skill it turns into a real pain in the ass for the enemy.
The trick is mastering the curve and bounce of it. I’ve been known to make some pretty good shots around corners etc with it.

Not the best quality vid, but shows some neat kills.

Personally, I say go default numbers for most weapons. Increase the knife a little bit (if you get that close, you deserve the kill) and reduce the panzer damage. With reduced damage and maybe increased charge time the noobs will end up losing and you can afford to have two of them out and about.

Hmm, rnades. Think I might go and play with one now!

Grenades have been nerfed too much.
Rifle grenades have been nerfed too much.
Landmines have been nerfed WAY too much.
k43/garand/sten still feel useless against medics.

I think half the problem is everyone is runnin round with a flack jacket on so splash damage weapons arent as effective.

But still, when you throw a perfectly timed nade in the middle of a group of enemies and get no kills, makes a bloke nearly go postal!

And forget multikills with the rnade.

Even on the odd occasion i want to let off some steam and go Panzer, shoot my missile of death into a group of 3-5 enemies and be lucky to get a single kill.

So we all agree, weapons are cactus!

Dont get me started on hitboxes………
