Grenades have been nerfed too much.
Rifle grenades have been nerfed too much.

Agreed.
The landmines (as of two days ago) on the server are just plain useless.
Why on earth change the radius of the landmine’s damage? I don’t follow …
Besides, just about everybody can see them due to xp save!
There’s way too much advantage given to the medic. Pretty much the reason why I choose that class these days ๐

Hi matilda thanx for your input, I’m going on cp today to un-nerf the mines etc. Btw sten and smg have all been upped to combat packing medics yet ppl still say they are too low?? I really cant understand whats the problem here. Do we want everything maxed out so its all a one shot kill. Or my only other suggestion is make everything default which is going to make everything way weaker that what it is now.

i think the problem is ET itself. All the guns are rather accurate, it take 4 headshots to kill someone, you can change direction as if you weigh 5 kilos.
The r-nade shouldnt be reduced damage, just take more charge to use. The grenade is fine, it takes some skill to use and w/o cooking is easy to dodge. i say keep landmines as is.
i agree with blusky about the k43/sten/garand against meds. no-idea how it would be fixed other thn making the guns more powerfull or meds weaker.

Why change any of the settings from default?
Hit the “reset factory defaults” button and all is good.

Blackhawk you should consider setting medic charge time to default – would fix alot.
Currently you can throw 20 medic packs in a row. (or something like that)
Default does work!

umm for my input stein should be the same or more than smg and smg should be 18 explosives should be turned up a little bit because of flack jacket ummm med change should be taken down a fair bit =/ … with the needle revive i think its set to 25% health or lower can we make it below 50% coz its difficult to heal a team member with needle when they on low but not low enough then u soot them and heal them and by time u have them up u both go BOOM from panzer

Can we please just make damage 1 point for every weapon?
Either that or can you please make every weapon do 200 points damage?
That would make it so much fairer because it’s hard to kill people with defaults it seems.

Reading all of the recent replies regarding weapon damage alterations…
I see one major flaw now on your server…XP SAVE FOREVER!!! (or its too long)
The reason for XP save is to give a slight advantage and bonus to those who persevere with the class. Because everyone has all of the bonuses in each class this means weapons designed for a particular class to the person with the bonus are no longer effective…this inturn means that other people find them inefffective or overwhelmingly effective. Hence why people are QQing about weapon damage and it needs to be drastically changed.
XP save in W:ET is designed to give bonuses and if this theme is removed by xp-save forever or too long then there is no real point in having this since everyone will be on par.
I would sugest you remove xp-save forever and put it back to how it was originaly or even for couple of hours xp-save, this way people will stick to one class and build it up and get certain advantages NOT all of them.
This would also mean that you can bring back all weapon damage to default with slight, not major, changes. I know this is a public server with a wide range of players but xp rewards is what makes ETPub servers popular. You remove that and it removes a major fun-factor for all the casual players.

xp reset after 10 maps rofl.
landmines are pretty much ineffective on oz because everyone has lvl 4 battle sense.
grenades and rnade are also less effective due to flak jacket
everyone has more health esp medics which also makes any other class less of an advantage
there are many flaws in xp save forever, i’v never ever seen a decent reason to have it. And you won’t see my xp go over about 10k before i xp reset, sometimes every map, sometimes every time i come on and play.
Gone were the days where you would have mini competitions to see who can get the most xp. I remember gummo getting 11k once. my best was like 4800 and youd be getting pissed off at everything rofl. bloody noob move out of the door i’ve been playing for 8 hours today hahaha.
those were the days.

at the end of the map having 50+ needle hits after giving phat adren. ROFL adren each other run out die. rinse and repeat.
Thats what oz misses. No ones gonna talk about stuff like that anymore. In a years time you wont hear anyone saying YEAH REMEMBER WHEN I GOT 100+ KILLZ ON OZ. Mainly because its not an accomplishment.

LOl i nearly had tears in my eyes reading these two replies…so sooo true and memorable moments…very fun times. It took me over 12 hours to get over 14k XP. I could easly manage 5-6K and so could phat in matter of hours but after that it was panzer, panzer and more panzering cos that was really fun…untill phat decided to give me adren while i ran out with the panzer or even flamer for that matter; then it became classic and annoyed the hell out of the other people. I kept on getting PMs of people saying “FFS death cant you use anything else” or “F off with the panzer” OR EVEN “becasue of you i cant get out of the spawn” (that one made me laugh big time).
One of the best moments was phat and I (also) had was giving adren to each other as medics and causing havoc in the spawn of the Axis opposition on gold rush. I think this was the best strategy we had and worked like a charm….adren+run circles+nade=3-4 kills+2-4 enemy self TK+and few splattered bodies. Man that was hillarious and it was more effective than spawn-mortar.
When i get good internet we should use that strat phat.
