G-train and some others are right set weapons to default and monitor the situation from there.

I’ve been playing on GA due to BH-monthly-vendetta-against-a-player and man I gota tell you the weapons are all good.

1 mine can kill a person and they actually walk over them cause they havent got 23449738723XP, rnade is so much fun, panzer can get multiple kills no one complains about weapon damage and meds can still whore it up. It’s all good.

Shows you just how much you know Middy. The weapons are all set at default, I did so myself. I listened to what the regs said and discussed it with the team so we spent the weekend setting everything to default and we are monitoring it from there. Geez ur such a whinging clown. You really should have some knowledge of whats happening before you start flapping ur lips as usual. Last time I saw a mouth like yours mate it had a fish hook in it ie: cod mouth ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a nice day bud. Thought I’d better give you something else to moan about or u’ll be lost n lonely.

XP save FOREVER is why OZ is fun! Gives the newbs something to work for aswell plus no one really complains about XP save.

Don’t put adren back in !

Some more suggestions without making a new thread

On /kill…
– Make it count as a death but don’t limit it. OR
– Limit it to 10 – 15. OR
– Revert the change back all together because /kill is so useful.

Maps…
– Remove wolfsrudel and flagaguahahfen or whatever, add supply if it hasn’t already been added.

On weapons…
– Default is good, I didn’t mind how it was before though. Indifferent on the change
– SMG defaulted now makes panzer seem over powered. Dunno how you can fix that without stuffing everything (PROB JUST ME MEDWHORE WHINGING)

Other…
– Voting system needs to be enabled and more reliable cos hackers are fkn annoying
– POD having kicking rights is def a good choice – more trusted players would be even better.
– Justification should be made for admin decisions the /kill decision had awful points to enforce the change.

Good stuff overall though.

Adren is out
XP save stays because the majority of players do like it
/kill is only temporaryily limited until we find the bizzo that makes it count as death
Flughafen is gone a good map but the atmospherics and models made things too laggy
Wolfstrudel is probly being replaced real soon
Maps were changed for a while because seriously the stock maps were getting so boring. They say a little change is like a holiday.
Weapons are all defaulted as again most of the players said thats the best way to go.
When we manage to get the voting exploit patch applied voting will come back as well. That to is only a temporary measure. Phat and Prince have been leveled to OZ Regulator ie: server regulators in the instance someone plays up and no OZ are on. Hope this helps a little.

Thanx for your comments. We all put in some long hours over two days trying different settings and discussing the suggestions made by our regs and not so reg players. Its nice to hear some positive comments.

I think you’re doing a great job trying to satisfy all the players in regard to the settings.

I dont quite understand what is the point of an XP system if everyone has max-level of all classes due to ‘xp save forever’. Yes some players may choose to reset their xp but the ETpubbers enjoy getting xp and its rewards (and dont reset their xp). Might aswell give everyone the rewards and just rack up XP for the heck of it; and i’ll bet this would be even more boring.

XP reward system is part of wolfenstein and it rewards people who persevere in a chosen class. Having a variety of people with various XP levels and rewards mixes up the game and makes it more ‘chaotic’ and unpredictable. Flak Jaket is one of those bonuses that max level engineers have and if you have everyone with all clasees having flak jacket….it makes explosive weapons more useless TBH.

People may seem to have gotten used to xp-save-forever and enjoy it but it servers no purpose anymore.

What worked well in the past was having an XP reset after couple of hours offline or even reset after 1-2 campaigns. This “forced” people to pursue a particular class and use its rewards to help the team.

This is my short view on the XP reward system.

BTW Im glad admins have taken action and made some of the changes that regs has in mind. I hope this helps your server out and makes the gameplay more enjoyable for all ๐Ÿ™‚

I think we tend to play the fence sitter on this one. We leave XP save on. However anyone on the server who likes to challenge themself and work it up again can do so easily by resetting their own XP. This seems to work well for us as it gives all the choices to the player and not the Server admins. You want to rack up XP you save it. You want to reset XP you reset it of if u cant ask an admin too.

Main problem atm with 3 /kill limit is playing engie
If you’re level 4 (Flakjacket) it takes two suicide nades to kill yourself.

why can’t you look at other servers, see what has worked and use that. ga7 uses a 7 /kill limit and no one complains.

On GA 7 they removed the /kill limit afaik.
