Just wondering were i can find were to download the Map files and etpub file (etc)
cause the download tab. was not very helpfull and i have no other idear were to find it. please help 😛

Auto download off the server when you connect is the easiest way.
type the following in console:
/cl_allowdownloads 1
You can try and google the maps but there might be various versions and they won’t load if it doesn’t match the servers version.

Hi TheKid,
Please do the following, as that just seems like it is a temporary file with permission errors currently.
1. GO into your etpub folder and remove all .tmp files. Then try reconnecting..
2. If that does not work, delete your entire etpub folder and reconnect.
3. If that does still not work and you get that same error, ensure you are running ET as an adminstrator.
4. If it still does not work move your ET Directory (the whole ET game), to a new directory in your “MY DOcument” Then try reconnecting, and that should fix it.
The above reasons are the only way to fix your issue, so if you do the following above correctly it should definitely fix your issue.

Got same issue but with ozhitsounds2.pk3 it just wont let me download it, tried every step you listed but still same thing

Try this /cl_allowdownload 1 in the console first hten reconnect.
If for some reason it still does not work, then go here – etozclan.com/files/etpub/ozhitsounds2.pk3 and put that file in your etpub directory.

Ive had the same problem forever – wont allow the download unless I am on the server at the time. Annoys the hell outa me.
ive tried that command thing but that never worked, manually downloading the file has worked though worked though thanks 😀
