Have to say a big F1 here guys, i know there have been issues / complaints of lag when it was enabled on previous occassions, but serioulsy i and many others still suffer from major lag issues when playing. May be BR can explain why other major servers that are PB enabled dont suffer from this probs ( eg Ga servers ). Would be nice just to see a nice and even playin field. Just ask Joke, some protection would be better than none. Lol ( happens to the best of us )

If your connection is shit, Of course you’re going to cop a little bit of lag.. If you have a 12Mb config, its going to scan that and probably mess you up.. Itll scan for invalid and unwanted vars. So all you cfg/hax are going to cop it.. Dont complain, If you’re one of these people you’re in the wrong and you know it

In any case, most of the regs can spot a hacker better than pb can.

We’ve already gone through this multiple times, with the same result each time. It causes issues for many regulars (not hax related, performance and lag related), has other issues with false positives, kicking for key issues, etc. Plus, OZ already has some of it’s own var checking code in place in the OZ client, without the need for PB. Cons outweigh the pros the last 5 times we’ve enabled it, so unless there’s a major PB update for ET that changes that drastically, I can’t see it going on again at the moment.

If there are particular vars you think need restricting, please feel free to detail them and we’ll look at adding them in if they aren’t in there already.
