Say that I’ve been flogging overmars over and over and over again and he gets really angry (a typical scenario), wouldn’t he give in to temptation just to teach the frog a lesson? I know I would, that frog is a jerk.

We done now? Alch, if you decide to answer the question asked multiple times already, so that you can actually benefit the server and yourself, feel free to. Troll free thread from here on out please, it’s a pointless waste of time. If you think that PB actually makes a server hax free, and has no downside, then I’m afraid you are living in the 90’s. It’s simply not the case.

And if anyone who has ever played against me actually thinks I hax, then you have bigger issues than can be dealt with on a games forum. Seek professional help.

FYI – all current ETPub clients contain a bug that results in kicks by PB wrongly for no good reason:

PunkBuster “Disallowed Program/Driver [120152]” kicks for Windows clients.

Apparently the problem has been recently fix in ETPub …. but no servers are running the latest ETPub client yet.

Im against pb (cmon, where are the backed up and verified episodes of me hacking – BRING THEM ON) due to lag issues that causes so many problems. We are having to make do with the hardware/ISP deal we have at this point, pure and simple reality check.

I’m going to take that wild guess and say… it was 4.

It’s not because I’m not admin, it’s because the Mac client doesn’t support it.

Seriously, think this through. There’s a hax on the server that’s annoying everyone and ruining a good time, would you prefer:

a) Admin takes a recording of hax, disconnects, starts demo mode and loads demo, switches on shownormals, confirms hax, reconnects to server, bans hax (if hax are still there, though most likely they disconnected when they saw admin come back, only to wait until later to reconnect when admins aren’t on).

b) Admin specs and demos hax, turns on shownormals, bans hax if confirmed.

If you’d actually prefer the first option then I’m frankly lost for a way to help you. Also if you think that any of the admins would bother using it in play then you misunderstand everything about the OZ server.

In case you are interested, it actually came about by accident from a function for helping people who keep getting kicked because they have their settings wrong, and being able to fix that for them (/rate is the most common example) so they can continue to play.
