There was very bad lag on the ET server most of last night and i0n suggested it was due to the Brink server running on the same box.
Can you please confirm, BR?
Would be a shame to kill the ET server for Brink …

BR is looking into this , & may be looking for an alternative server set up for Brink.
BR can answer this when he reaches a resolution to this problem.

I am currently looking at an alternative method, also, our server should only really be supporting 30/32 players max. Having 38 people on the server is just a shocker, not to mention most maps are VERY spammy with that many people.

Ok I believe I have sorted out the Brink issue as it was running a whole new thread per player connecting, I have halved that value, it should still be smooth just use a litle less CPU usage. So I’ve been monitoring it now and the CPu is back under 40% with all servers running. I will continue monitoring it as the week progresses.

Yeah nw’s mat , Pub server still lagging tonight even after I shutdown all other ET servers.

side not the brink server keeps coming on under campain instead of objective
