the download of et_ice.pk3 from the www needs fixing. it ends up in an endless download. i’ll look into it tonight and report.
Probably server and site are running different versions of it. Mine is the original. But I don’t remember which one it’s stored on. I probably screwed it up.

No one knew the new password to the site FTP to change it. But BR should be back soon, and he knows the password, so it should be fixed within a day or two.

– Fix pure server on our server for large amount of reasons 🙂 so it don’t kick everyone even if u don’t have skins 😛 If we fix pure server it WILL kick people who don’t have skins, thats the point of pure server, if u don’t download the stuff the server has, and use it (so everyone is using same files) it will give you the boot. So i’m lost here too? :S But i’ll see what I can do after xmas about it, the only way I can think to fix it may take 2 or 3 days to sort out, so I don’t want to do write now. – Lithium
if there are files are the client does not have (for example, skin packs), the client will attempt to download them in the same way maps are downloaded.

Pure server, like PBBans, did not kick everyone. It kicked the little hackers. Or the guys with the custom skin packs. Neither of them kicked me, except when I broke the cg_fov cvar. But GA kicks me of that too.

if you are concerned about losing players through the change, i suggest a week of banner announcements warning of the change, and direct them to this website for further information.
The only people it kicked, were like, BigMac who had crushr on his computer… A HACK, and numerous others with hacky cvars. Hence why I got kicked for right clicking :p

i cant imagine how running pure would affect cvars.
PBBans kicked for cvars, pure just kicked everyone but me as I’d uploaded half the maps.
My Gosh the bots are done 🙂 they were uploaded all wrong and missing all the navigation files the last time we had them they were missing half of them 😛 But its all fixed now 🙂
