Have the Landmines been upgraded? Many times I have set one off, sprint-jumped away and still been blown up.
Anyone else have any input?
I think they need to be nerfed -10 or -15 damage in my opinion.

I did read somewhere they had done up the mine damage.

Also it seems like you can’t file on landmine kills. I know it seems a strange scenario where you would want to but believe it or not an engy set a mine, tripped over it and blew me and him both up. I was thrashing my f1 but to no avail.

then you’ve got people who walk over landmines in the middle of no-where and file, or walking over landmines intentionally to file so the engi can be kicked.

Nah I’ve seen enough of debo to know it isn’t. However, I have constructed my own alternative. It involves pushing the offending engineer into a bunch of his own mines thus both killing him and causing him to spend 30 seconds replanting them. The extra practice he gets from replanting those mines is my gift to him… free of charge! Let the punishment fit the crime I say!
If you leave the damage like this.. change the max mines from 12 to 8
The team damage restriction needs some serious revisionsing, I have accidentally made mroe hten 20% tk damage and I never get kicked either so I’ll have a look what’s going on there. Ill make a changelog when the settings are altered. But hope you notice that if you want to see if anything is altered it is ALWAYS put in a changelog so you can see the date it was made and by who :).

Mines are trickier with tk though.
i mean an engy could plant some mines at the start of the map and then they only get set off at the end.
so theres a difference say to a thompson cause you cant tell whos gonna trip the mine off where as you can see where youre shooting (Hopefully)
Not to mention if youre allies and you trip an allies mine you can see its there so imo its your fault for getting yourself killed not the engy
so why should the engy have to be penalised for that.

I’m with Frog. Some engineers are just retards with where they place the mines, and as a fellow engy, it can be reasonable hard to jump over them. And half the time, they spend the whole map planting mines that the enemy don’t even go near, and contribute nothing to the team.
Yeah mine damage should be lowered a bit, you should be able to survive at least one mine. If there are two in a row, then fine let em kill you, but one mine equaling 156 hp is a tad over the top 😛
