ok our surver if not fair medics are way over powered turn their charge down WAY down

also give other classes a bit of a boost
engineer would be better if we made landmines stronger 1 u can see them on the ground and a medic can survive 3 if he packs while jumping
covert ops i say make sten do more damage or overheat slower
it took me 4 body shots to kill a medic with sniper it need to be powered up to about 2 or 3
i dont use fg so i cant speak there

fld ops maybe the only fine class
solder would be fine with thease tweaks also

rnade damage seems to be quite low too. i have shot a few people right at their feet and they don’t die…

I’m with abo, I think medic is far too strong. You only need to go on the server and look at how many are in each class, why so many medics, the answer is bleedin’ obvious they are the strongest class. The heroes will deny it but if there was any other class that became stronger than a medic I guarantee that would be where they would shift to. :flamer: :flamer:

Don’t start messing around with all the classes.
If the problem is you killing a medic, turn down the medic charge a little bit.
Don’t go around upping damages on weapons because then you will have lots of issues with non-medic classes.
4 body shots with a sniper to kill a medic is actually pretty good in my opinion.

Leave medics the way they are. I think the reason ppl think that medics are overpowered is because its the class the best shooters use. And besides thats the whole point of medic. Leave it as is

med’s are NOT meant to be rambo’s they are meant to (and most do res the team).But how do you kull rambo’s and keep the team player’s?

med’s are NOT meant to be rambo’s they are meant to (and most do res the team).But how do you kull rambo’s and keep the team player’s?

All classes can ‘rambo’. Please don’t change the damage/charge it will stuff things up.

So an Eng can self pack? or any other class? the Term Rambo “If you have not Seen the film Called First Blood” John Rambo .. fall’s from a great height thru idk HOW many tree’s and then proceeds’s to “stitch him self up with needle and thread” Then i guess that film was probably before you where born.No offense.. And the day of the net most teen’s can see these classics anyway … So do not tell me ALL classes can “Rambo”

No harm in reducing the medic charge time. At the moment you can throw out about 15 medic packs without delay..

Engineer using offensive mines
Field ops artying near spawn etc etc.

Meds can pack themselves while engineers can rnade every 2 seconds and panzers can shoot rockets every 2 seconds, sounds fair to me.

Keep in mind that a med gets unlimited packs. 4/8 r’nades for an engy, and 4 panzers for a soldier. 10 mines per team for engies too. F Ops have only one arty a minute I think.

You say “Please don’t change the damage/charge it will stuff things up.” when they’ve already been changed and it has screwed things up. The defending team wins more often because the spawn times mean they respawn faster, making it harder for the attackers to wipe out all the defenders – eg Goldrush. Goldrush is rarely so hard to win on other servers as it is here.

Changing from the default times is going to piss someone off always. But medics pack way too fast.

Is there a cvar somewhere that stops medic packs healing themselves? Not sure what mod, but I think there was one. It’d make it gay for a medic, but they regen at ~2hp/sec already, so it isn’t like they’d be defenseless.
