Flak jacket doesnt carry accross to the other classes, just like you can only spot enemies in disguise as a maxed feildy.
Dont mess with the settings, default everything and maybe up the spawn sheild for the scardy cats.

Default pwns modified. Modified means someone always whines. Default ET is still faster than most other games out there.
Does anyone else remember what happened last time sten damage was upped? The server was more than half covy.
ya but that was because someone upped it with 20 damage >.< 4-5 hits and ur dead say up it with 3-4 dmg

Maybe try limiting all classes to 20% of the team. Force players to go crappy classes. Heck yeah. You’ll end up with a billion specs waiting for medic/panzer.

I went engineer with rnade. Good times bouncing the nades of corners and walls lol…got few double kills ๐
How about we trial default? I’m sure ppl will QQ at the start but youll get the hang of it and it might make the gameplay good. the only thing I would suggest with that is XP reset and make the rewards slightly harder to obtain. (example: 1star medic at 200XP)
If you really want to use the reward system then you need to reset XP. This gives more balance to the game as not everyone is able to achieve all the bonuses.

Does anyone know if field medics carry around a full arm? Or at the very least medics don’t carry 8 medkits with them.
Personally I think we should make medkits very expensive energy-wise and slow down the auto-health.

Realistically, just set the med charge bar to default so they can only throw 3 packs at a time. Then set corpses to only spew 3 packs and its a level playing field, as long as the other classes have the same settings.
The moral: Set it back to default.

I don’t think we should because it stuffs up too many 1v1 fights med v med. I don’t agree with further limiting the medic class. If good player played X class, X class would seem overpowered. It appears overpowered because most of the good players play it. Sill….default is default…

There’s a difference between medic and panzer.
Panzer is one click kill : Medic you have to aim at a tiny little head
Panzer can take out X amount of players in one hit : Medics can only kill 1 at a time.
Panzer is extremely noob friendly : Medic isn’t
Spammy : Not spammy
Panzer is capped because if it wasn’t i’d say if the server was full 80%+ would be panzers (which would be awful). If a ‘pro’ can aim well as med he can sure as hell aim just as well with a 1 click kill weapon like a panzer or to a lesser extent, rnade.
It isn’t just random that lesser skilled players go fg42/rnade/panzer and the good players go med.
I personally enjoy the charge times and only find medic overpowered when i’m sten or MISS with an rnade – the MISS with the rnade is MY OWN personal fault/lack of aim. I honestly think that OZ is fine how it is, and is far more fun now that it would be default.

panzer aint always 1 hit kill plus it aint spammy ๐ medics can kill more then 1 person at a time(grenades or if they walk behind each other :P)
first oz capped medic at like wa 3 per 10 people then no one really complained about it at all as most of the times u had atleast 1 medic that was actually doing his job and be supportive
