Similar to TF2, I now own both.. properly, so it wouldn’t be too hard for myself to keep track of things on OZ either :), but yeah, excellent idea. First things first though, I need to get these new levels into OZ :), up and running and the new builds the dev team has been working on for etpub 🙂

Wont last too long IMO. The game is too advanced in the performance setting required to get a big enough community happening. CoD:WaW is not popular and CoD:MW has only few decent servers running. Those players and new ones with higher end computers specs will hardly migrate to CoD:MW2.
I think in the long run you would be wasting your time but if it doesnt hurt to try then do it and lets see what the AUS gaming community does.

MW2 doesnt support dedicated servers afaik.
TBH, its just another COD4, quite boring really, you sniper fanbois will love it…….

Well I neither have an wesome computer, or a sniper fan boi. Although I do like the sub machine guns…. allows me to spray and pray and get some kills :). no.1 in FFA XD.
Anyway, atleast we would merge into other games, the community is quite large for MW2 and the specs that are needed aren’t THAT high. I ran it on a Core 2 Duo 2.66, 1GB of ram and 7600 i believe and it ran fine all on low 🙂 i’d say it hit around 30 fps or so solid :).

MW2 has heaps of players lol. And tons of clans. You don’t really need a server anyway, you just join as a party.

I played MW1 recently and only managed to find 2full servers in AUS and its spam/fragg fest. Give it a go and see what happens…maybe OZ will gather enough regulars 🙂
I like the action in MW but it is a sniper-fan boy game and if you dont know the map then youre preety much dead…
Quite frankly I prefer to get Spawn Camped than dying around every corner which I couldnt see the enemy coming because he knew the map and was miles away and when I try to hide i get naded because they know the map and i dont and it makes me frustrated because I want to frag them as well and when i get few of them suckers they call HAX on me because i told them I just started playing and they dont beleive me because they think they know it all and then I go around another corner and some douchebag with a golden pistols whipes me out in one shot and I’m like F**K this going back to ET.
