hey i noticed that every time people are on there and people say “server lag” and at the same time other people are getting it. Now it might be cause of the happy hour with dead people and sounds. but i think the -OZ- team should try and fix it.

Server usually only lags when it’s full (32/32). Might be your PC or connection. Now that i’m uncapped it doesn’t seem to be laggy at all – not even baserace!
half your skill is in your config
Most of the pros and about half the rest of the guys never complain about lag. Check your et config and TCP settings.

Gotta admit the lag seems more stable. Still get the odd 2 minutes of spiking here or there as the server has a fart but its much less than it used to be?

Go into a room on any map, face the corner with lag-o-meter on and just see if its all ok. IF you get the odd spike then its your config. Test this with both low/full server utilisation (i.e no. of players). Then do the same but stand outside in the open and see if it lags. If you get lag-spikes BUT they are consistant then its server related….if they happen even while your in the corner then its your PC. (most likely case)
ET was not designed for 32 players just so you know…something to do with Q3 code/emige it was made on from memory.
