Just some questions I have..
– Why was blood splatter(or whatever it is) turned off? It’s so hard to tell when you’re getting shot at or to know how much damage you’re taking.
– Do SK rules still apply to those who fire and remove their invulnerability? This will be tough for mods to enforce.
– Are players movement speeds faster?
– Was grenade damage nerfed?
Did you forget to add a few things to the changelogs post? Server ‘feels’ heaps different.

I’ve personally never used blood splatter, doesn’t it block your screen?
SK rules still apply in the way that you shouldn’t be shooting inside another persons spawn if its not capturable.
Don’t know about speeds, I haven’t got an install of ET atm so I can’t check how the server feels atm ๐
I’m guessing BR might have forgotten to add/change things that came with the nightly build that we need to get back into shape.
Hopefully it gets fixed up soon though ๐

Err, I personally have mine on the lowest – your screen still shakes and flashes a tiny bit when you get shot at.
Something was changed server side.

I have not changed any cvars except those listed in the changelog however cvar vaues/bitmasks may have changed and are now reverted to something else since I did not recheck over the other settings nor have read the changelog of the actual 0.9.1 etpub nightly build, build.
Players are still moving same speed. Check your fov (Field of view) when this is altered it may *feel* your moving faster or slower and gives a whole new feel to the game. To do this cg_fov 75 is default i think, this may be your issue blusky espeically if it was something else before hand. I noticed mine was altered when the new client nightly build pk3 downlaoded ๐
The Idea of the spawn shield is so that they can’t use the 5 second spawn shield to be realyl cheap and do an objective. Pherhaps.. If I increase the spawn shield every so slightly so that its even out the loss of the spawn shield if they choose to early in the peace..?

The main reason for my post was because of the blood splatter/shaking of the screen when you get shot – it’s been removed and may of just come with the new et pub thing…

^^Yep, cant tell when you are being shot or what direction the attack is coming from, really a fundamental part of the game….. ๐

Is it gone now, or is it still active? If so I believe it just edits a cvar client side more then likely as the server doesn’t really control this (wheras more etmain stuff) so chances are it altered a cg_blood.. cvar.
