So how did you get this message up just curios? Used your phone, neighbours internet? Wait... I got it.. I bet you have internet backup so you got other lines for cable/dsl, Skanky's access to the net on the whole will only go down if we get EMP'd!

LOL, have 2 connections for redunacy + hacked WiFi from silly neighbours + mobile phone 3G access using phone as a modem.
Anyhows, heres the latest from iinet status updates, TJ Server will be back on in a few hours I hope as well as youporn :lol:

Resolution:

iiNet Engineers will perform works.

Update 1:08pm WST : Engineers are working to restore one of our core network devices to full functionality. We appreciate your patience.

Update 2:34pm WST : Engineers have finished re-balancing traffic across the remaining domestic and international links to reduce customer impact as much as possible. Investigation has revealed two cards in the syd-ult-core router have failed, with the router requiring at least one of the cards to function. Cisco are organising spares for us ASAP but at this stage an ETR is not available

Update 4:00pm WST : We have received confirmation that the parts will be onsite at 6:00pm WST so we estimate this issue to be resolved by 8:00pm WST.

Update 5:00pm WST : The replacement cards have been received by our engineers who are on their way to the site to perform the replacement.

Estimated Time of Restoration:

2010-04-18 20:00:00 WST

Sounds like you need a designated driver to double as the one who fetches the beer or a tab at the bar :D

While that sounds most kool, you want to be REALLY careful actually using it.

Carbon fibre splinters are not something you want inside of you. Titanium can be more user friendly.

I like that fork that can rotate automatically for easy spaghetti eating! God that would be the beginning of the end for me.
