modify "Target" in your shortcut
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 1 et.exe
to dedicate the first CPU core to the game (or "/affinity 2" for the second, and so on)
I thought that in Vista you need to have admin status to be able to make changes to core affinity...
Can you set access to the account you logon with so that you can have 'full access'?
I know in XP there is no issue of 'access denied' to majority of softare (except for some critial windows software) but I have heard that for Vista its different.
