The New iSeries processor, it's exact name is,

Intel Core
i3 CPU M330
@ 2.13ghz

What i want to know after reading up on these CPU's in forum discussions is,

Is this processor a Dual Core with hyper threading giving my CPU Monitoring Desktop Gadget the apperence of 4 cores or does it actually have a Quad core processor? It doesnt say anywhere on my laptop on those stickers.

Just curious

core-i3 is dual core from memory.

Hyper threading adds vitual cores , ie. dual core with HT would be 4 core in windows task manager (hyper threading come into it's own for rendering video & games etc).

I have a core-i5 (quad core , no HT ).

Check here for details on processors.

or here

The wiki link is in laymans terms , the intel link is if you want to get technical.

@ Joke , See here http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=46472&processor=i3-530&spec-codes=SLBLR,SLBX7

@ Fliq , See here http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=47663&processor=i3-330M&spec-codes=SLBMD,SLBNF

For all intel processors , use the intel processor spec finder , here http://ark.intel.com/

For everyone who want's to know about any processors or system specs , use cpu-z !
