Hmm...
bought the CD, put it in, ran BlackOps.exe setup thingo... registerd on Steam... & NOW! it's been downloading something for AGES! it's been on -98% for 30mins + & only d/l'ing at 9.5k/bs MAX!

WTF !

It's just suckin' all the porn off your hard drive, should be done in a couple of hours. BR told me it took 3 weeks to suck the porn of his hard drive :banana: :banana:

Maybe with the new update, but with the fisrt release if you had a dual core and a decent GFXcard, the fix for it was to turn your graphics up to full to place more strain on your GPU than your CPU, but only running a 512 card doesnt really help either way :/


They released a 2GB update for both single and multiplayer today that fixes the GPU issues so gunna download that and hopefully it'll be sweet

I did see the update. It's pretty bad that they did such a dodgy job on the game. Didn't it have a memory leak or something before it got patched the first time?
