assign a hotkey not used in ET

then alt+tab into the game and use hotkey, it runs in backgound

really?? I have to alt tab out of the game? thats lame. what if i want to shoot and warn teammates of incoming enemies at the same time?? Can't do that if ya have to alt tab outta game...LAME
Is there no way to assign a hot key in ET which links to vent??

Same i have to Alt+Tab or Alt+Enter cos i get flashing in & out when a program or a message goes by. and sucks. but yeah a minimizer would help.
