General -OZ- behaviour

I have received a couple of pm's today in regards to rules of the server and rules for -oz-members on server.


There is no difference.

All rules are for EVERYBODY to follow.

THERE IS NOONE above the rules.

EG. SK. Rule applies to EVERYONE

so what to do.

if u do see a member doing what they are not suppose to.

Try asking them and letting them know. sometimes they might not be aware of it or you might be incorrect as it may be a capturable spawn or what ever other variable reason.

Most importantly you all have equal right to use this server.

so if something is not right or something bothers you in that sense then please let us know.

if you are worried about backlash. please go direct to admins

demo helps a great deal you have no idea.

I have a complaint to make but the OZ member said he would come OVER and break my knees if I told. Instead I will just eat this MARS bar and sit tight.

Yeah but you can never be too sure with frog.......

He is always OVER the top with his obsession collecting MARS bars that you have to step back and ponder whether its a JOKE or a genuine COMPLAINT about NOOBs. IT is a real dilemma when he posts these UP in such a fashion.

So maybe we should step back and ease that TRIGGER finger and let the Juniors and Veterans some HAPPY time to figure things out.

We can all gain something out of this or some QUACKK may lose it and rage RAWR our JOYs away!!!

Just a serious note though about the topic:

If anyone does indeed feel they need to complain,
you are more than welcome to bring that grievance to us.
Tell the admins about the behaviour you witnessed
on that player and try to bring a demo as Hicksy said.
Me personally, thinks that all OZ should hold the rules to a high standard and
you can be assured that we take all complaints with care.
Will that OZ player get in trouble for what they did?
Be assured that if an OZ member step out of line that we have rules that are
permanently followed by the clan and in extreme cases an OZ player could be
banned for a period of time from the forums/server so that they
understand that we are here to send a positive message to the public.

I hear what you are saying Trigger, I really do. But I
wonder if you've taken into account the fact that some,
if not most of the noobs on the server (and i dont mean
horus here) don't have forum accounts and therefore
will never even read your message. I also doubt they'd
ever care enough about these silly rules to bother to
read them if they were printed out and put in the mail
this afternoon straight to their home address.

you feel me?

Nah I didn't think of that.
Frogma, you really did open my eyes to this issue.
I should have taken those facts into account but I
doubt it is a big deal. In the end I think
he or she who plays ET will never
ever really read the rules like you said, but
will they at least read in game messages we give them?

Do you even have to ask if I dig? But take for example
Joker who gets really really involved in his gaming
and probably never checks in-game messages at all.
Hicksy, on the other hand, would be the sort to go
get message logs after he stops playing...
It takes all sorts I guess is the point i'm making.

I just had to ask to make sure we were on the same page.
Honestly, I believe that they just
don't care enough about the services we provide here.
Think that if we didn't have the forums how many times players, for instance
Joker, would have been banned and not been able to get unbanned.
Does this not then mean that people should be periodically checking these things?
